The new school hall project is currently the biggest single project in the history of Ibadan Grammar School. When completed, it will be the biggest and most beautiful in the whole of Oyo State, bigger than Trenchard hall at the University of Ibadan.
The building project is currently awarded to L'DALBARTO, a reputable construction firm in Nigeria. Thirty-six million (N36,000,000) Naira was needed to complete the project, which re-started in early 2005 and anticipated to complete by mid year 2006. A mobilisation fee of Ten million (N10,000,000) Naira was paid to the contractor; the rest to be paid monthly at Two million (N2,000,000) Naira until the project is completed. The hall will be available for hire to generate funds for its maintenance.
